The SHOCK-Rack is used in civil defence and in military for telecommunications security purposes.
Special features
The SHOCK-Rack was developed upon a specific customer request. With the specification that the rack shall not only withstand the shock resulting from an aircraft crash or a nuclear explosion. It shall also absorb a significant part of the shock so that the battery can reliably continue with power supply.
Delivery periods
Both the SHOCK-Rack and the CAVOFLEX ® damping elements are special designs with a delivery period of eight weeks. Please also consider planning and design periods.
Apart from DIN EN 50272, certain specifications from the customer were taken into account here for design.
The basic material is steel which is plastic-coated with a high-value PE by a fluid bed process. The standard colour is RAL 7021 black grey. Also included are CAVOFLEX ® damping elements made of aluminium and stainless steel.
